HELLO FRIENDS!!!  what a week!! its been another week with not a whole ton of work. sister hopkins is still way sick :(( but i love her and we've had fun still!!!  we've had lots of adventures in our little balay though 1. may or may not have acted out all of High School Musical 2. did a whole ton of studying and we're basically scriptorians  3. maybe made a scripture chase for the johnson fam (stay tuned it will probably arrive in your mailbox in approximately 3 weeks) 4. figured out the chords on the ukulele to basically the entire hymbook 5. and WE ARE 90% SURE I GOT BIT BY A COCKROACH ON MY FACE IN MY SLEEP. THIS IS HORRIFYING. you have NO idea how fast i whipped out the mosquito net for my bed that my mom told me to start using months ago. moms always know best :) but its okay how many people can say they lived in a 3rd world country and got 2 cockroach bites on their face? i hope not many so ya know we're still pushing along!!! we've ...

hello!!!! another week!! its already week 4 of this transfer! time seriously moves so so so fast its insane. but first off i wanna say thanks to southlake ward for the package!!! oh my goodness it was the happiest day ever and you guys are the best <3333 and lets just say there were tears shed by everyone in the house when we pulled out some chick fil a sauce. ever tried that with rice? 8/10 recommend. SO MUCH LOVE THANK YOUUUU but yayayy!! life is good!! its been another slower week work wise, cause my cute comp is still way sick. but we keep ourselves busy and sit on our balcony and watch the sunset and play our ukulele's and sing songs. a couple days ago we were out there and our neighbors literally set up chairs in their backyard and faced us and watched us sing it was so funny hahaha they were waving and cheering it was too good. so yeah we put on shows every day now and we may start charging so this week we went to visit this one woman named MikMik who i just...

HELLOOOOO!!!! what a week!!! so my cute comp is sick so we didnt get out much this week and had to get pretty creative with our time hahahah soo i taught her the ukulele and we've been figuring out the chords to like all the primary songs and have been translating them all to illongo and have had lots of fun times even if we are trapped in the house!!!  but we did discover that you can literally order pizza in this country. who knew!! it was a dangerous discovery cause this might be a regular occurrence now but wow it was a happy night. definitely not american pizza but it was a close second!! i love being a missionary!! we got to watch a philippines wide broadcast from Elder Holland yesterday and it was so so so awesome. You could just feel his love for all the people and he just cried while testifying to us it was so so awesome. and its fun to think hes here in the same country as us across the ocean!!! life is so good and I realize more and more every day how ...

maayong aga!!! what a week!!! first week of transfer #5 in the philippines!!  this has been a whirlwind of a week! the highlights- -went house hunting this week to find a house in santa fe and found a house with a water heater and air conditioning and a filtered water sink and i was in absolute shock and awe until i realized that was kind of an expectation before i got to the Philippines. too bad it was more than double the budget hahaha -had many hospital trips for my cute comp and her enlarged liver but that also means lots of mcdonalds breakfast soooo perks -we were sitting on a jeepney the other day which is the main mode of transportation around here and this very large filipino man gets on and he definitely thought there was more room than there was and ended up sitting directly on sister hopkins. did he care/move? nope. i thought it was a whole lot funnier than sister hopkins did hahahah this week me and sister hopkins were just chillin eating some macdonal...
