maayong aga sa inyo tanan
what a week! its been SO BUSY. but so so good. and so so fast. we're starting the last week of the transfer today! A week from today is transfer day. usually i have a pretty good idea of whats gonna happen for transfer day, but right now, we have no clue hahah. we'll see!!

the highlights of this week
-we visited this woman that we've been teaching for a while now, and her husband joined the lesson! but we realized right after the opening prayer that he was VERY drunk and ended up giving us a full concert on his guitar in the middle of the lesson hahahah it was SO funny. he sang his wife some love songs that were not very appreciated on her end. he told us he wants to teach us next time. stay tuned
-got Kraft MAC N CHEESE! it was SO good oh my goodness. my comp's mom sent her some and i just about died we all cried together it was so good
-got interviewed by a general authority of the church!! we talked for like 25 minutes just about the mission and all the lessons that I've learned and even in that short amount of time, I totally know he is called of God and I could feel God's love for me through him. it was really really cool. and he had a sick fiji accent.
-we have been house hunting the ENTIRE week. we've been asking everyone we see if they know of a house for rent, and we have met so many people who have dropped everything they're doing and go and ask all their friends and drive us on their tricycles to find houses. we met one man who literally came with us everywhere for like an hour to help us find a house. all these people literally drop everything for some people they dont even know!! i just love this country and all these cute people in it. i wish everyone had the chance to come and live here and see how loving and kind all these people are. i say a prayer of thanks every single day that I could come here and live with them even just for a year and a half.

but basically i love being here. i love being a missionary. i never want it to end. seriously never been happier in my whole life. its hard and exhausting and there are definetly days when going and walking for miles in the humidity and heat doesn't sound like the most fun thing in the world, but then i remember these awesome people and how much God loves them. And we're the people lucky enough to go share that love with them. If anybody is still deciding whether or not to serve a mission, DO IT! it is the best thing you could ever do.

i love you all and hope you have a good week!!!

family-
monday- yayay after we emailed last week we went shopping!! i got a super cute dress. it was worth 6 dollars. and then we worked at night! it started pouring rain. i love the rain. basically with rainy season it is suuuuper hot every morning until like 3, and then it rains in the afternoon until th enight time. thats been the pattern this week. its so fun i love it.
tuesday- mission tour!!! oh my goodness what a good day. it was soo awesome. elder wakolo is so knowledgable. literally hes like a genius in the scriptures and way good at giving trainings. and my interview with hijm was so awesome. we just sat in an office and ate lunch and chatted it was so funny hahah. he asked me a bunch of questions. we talking a lot about the family! he says hi and he loves all of you and thank you for letting me go on a mission etc. and then we were there until like 2:30 with elder wakolo. then he interviewed a few elders while sister wakolo did a sisters meeting with all the sisters! it was good. kinda felt like she was trying to get us to like open up about companionship problems in front of everyone which was weird. but it was good too. and then we went home!
wednesday- exchanges! We woke up and went to binalbagan for exchanges! I worked with sister ferreria in her area. if you remember all the way back in  my first transfer, i did exchanges with her twice! when sister melgaso had MLC. she was super awesome back in the day and helped me learn ilonggo and learn how to work hard etc. but it was so sad cause she goes home in 2 transfers and is just tired now and doesnt work hard and has some obedience problems. so that was lame. but the problem with exchanges is that nobody is disobedient while they are on exchanges, so we cant get a clear view of what they actually do every day! so she was absolutely fine on our exchanges. i could tell there was something odd though cause in all their reports it was like only 1-3 lessons they taught every day. so i figured something was up. but then i get back and me and sis nanlabi did our post exchanges lunch and they're like super dissobedient and her cute little trainee doesnt know what to do to help. but i didn't even know about any of that until after exchanges were done! thats the hard thing. this happens like every exchange. like the companion always tells one of us some big thing that the other one of us would hopefully adress during exchanges but they dont know about it till after. so we are brainstorming to figure out ways around that dilemma. so that exchanges can actually have an effect. if mandi has any ideas of what they did in her mission- send them our way! but it was a fun day.
thursday- exchanged back!! and me and sis nanlabi went and worked for like 2 hours before heading to bacolod! and then we slept there that night! AND GUESS WHAT- WE WENT TO LOS TRES AMIGOS! cause usually we sleep tthere for MLC on tuesaday nights cause MLC is always on a wednesday.but cause elder wakolo was here, it was on friday! so i went!!! oh it was so happy. best night EVER.i missed that place so much.the owner, dave, and I are pals. he was so excited to see me. hes so funny. they're openign another location! in another mission. it was exciting.
friday- MLC! this was SO good. way better than the mission tour was. cause it was such a small group of us. i learned so much. and am so fired up to just work hard and baptize this island! it was  so good. we all kneeled down and prayed with him at the end. it was really cool. and then we headed back to our area. then sister nanlabi got a bad headache again so we just rested the rest of the night.
Saturday- yayay what a good day!! we went and worked sooo hard. taught 8 lessons and found 8 new people to teach. it had been like a full week since ive worked in our area a full day. cause of exchanges and meetings and everything. it wasa good day.
sunday- yayy lots of miracles today. so first off, sister remy has been preparing for baptism for months and we've been waiting for her husbadn to give her permission to get baptized. we found out that he said its okay!! so she is probably going to get baptized this coming saturday. she is so awesome im so excited for her. and then this woman named mary anne!! we were at their house saturday night and she is super pregnant and she was having osme weird pains that werent normal adn they were gonna go to the hospital but hten we showed up so they were like we'll just wait but we told them to just go and its fine. butthey were like nah we wanna listen. so we taught fast and then left. and then we toldher that if she couldnt come to church cause of her stomach orifthere were problems its okay cause she has to ride a 20 min tricycle to get there and its on a hooorible road. its so bumpy. and its so hard for her pregnant stomach. but we showed up to church on sunday and she came!!! it was so exciting. and sister rose was there. shes gettin gbaptized in 2 weeks. and sister letty. shes tryna stop coffee. but she'll hopefully be baptized next month. lots of really good people. im so excited for all of them. life is good!!
