maayong aga sa tanannn
another week here in Kabankalan!!

this was such a crazy week! we have been so busy. We went to Bacolod for MLC and ended up being there Tuesday-Thursday morning cause the bus station shut down so we couldnt get home hahah. so that was exciting. and then Friday-Saturday we did exchanges in Cauayan! I got to go work down there with Sister Porter! There house is right on the beach it was SO pretty. And then Saturday Eduardo was baptized! And Letty, Redora, and Rodolfo from La Carlota! I love getting to watch all these people that I love come unto Christ and feel of His love!! Life is good

the highlights of the week-
-me and sister amataga ended up fine dining with our mission president wednesday night at the fanciest restaurant ive ever seen in the philippines hahah who knows how we ended up in that situation but id give it a 10/10
-gave a monkey a high five this week and taught a family who has a pet owl. i love the philippines
-we started teaching this guy named Jethro! He told us he'd come to church on sunday but we didn't see him there so we were dissapointed that he wasn't able to come! And then they started the sacrament and we looked up and he was up there blessing the sacrament. we were some confused sisters hahaha but turns out hes a member! good one jethro
-Saturday we went to Eduardo's baptism! he was a referral from his friend, Jerry, who was just baptized a few months ago, so we asked if Jerry wanted to baptize him! We probably should have gave him a little more instructions on how to baptize cause all i know is poor old tay eduardo was being held underwater and his arms waving in the air above him hahaha oh man. then it only took 4 more tries but all is well and he made it out alive and he's officially a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints :)

I love the mission.

This week I read the lyrics to Brightly Beams your Fathers Mercy. go read it! its in the  hymn book. so so awesome. and i realized that as missionaries we have such a responsibility to show our light to other people and literally help change their entire lives/eternities. and that responsibility stretches out to everyone! even members, other missionaries, our families, everyone! And its not just limited to missionaries! but everyone can help reach out a hand to others. So go do something nice for someone else this week! help someone feel god's love.

i love being here! love you all!!
