hey pals!! wow what a week!! 
first off, this morning we went to the beach!!! we found out theres a beach in our area and woke up and went and took some picnic blankets and ate breakfast on the beach. i love living on an island

but its been a whirwind of a week with a lot more crazy typhoons and your 2 fav girlys dripping wet and shivering in macdonalds a few nights. ended up climbing a tree to get out of a flood hahaha. and then we had 4 extra sisters come stay in our house with us a few nights while they found a new house so we ended up with 8 people here a couple nights. it was way fun but we all ran out of food tryna feed them all so we've been starvin the past few days hahaha. its been an exciting week. but HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! yayayy wooo  

but what a week of miracles!! seriously we feel SO blessed over here. last monday we went to go visit the Calata family and follow up with them about how church was!! And the father of their cute little family said, "sisters we just want to be baptized in your church. when can we be baptized?" and I just cried with joy and now they have a baptism scheduled for the 30th of November :))  we are SO excited for them. 

and we met another woman named Hiley this week! She is so awesome. shes about 50 years old and has never prayed outloud before in her life. She just said she never knew how and didn't know how she would even receive an answer if she did pray. so we taught a whole lesson about the importance of prayer and at the end, invited her to pray to close the lesson. she was hesitant at first but she finally just tried to say a prayer. she didn't get very far in before she just cried and cried. afterwards she told us that she felt her answer already. I know that God wants to talk to all of His children no matter who they are. I'm so excited for all these cute people that I love in the Philippines. How lucky are we to be a part of their lives and see all the miracles. i just love my mission with my whole heart and am so grateful for this time. who knows how i got so lucky

hello everyone!!! what a week!!! highlights: -on wednesday, we had MISSION WIDE CLEANING DAY!!! so all the missionaries in Bacolod mission spent the entire day cleaning their apartments. so from 7:30 am to 5 pm, all we did was clean. and lemme tell ya. i killed species of bugs that i didnt even know existed and discovered that all the lizards lay their eggs behind my bookshelf!! that was a fun discovery.  -we found AMERICAN FOOD. oh my goodness. (see the pic below.) i got some pasta and french fries and it was the happiest meal. sister nanlabi said we needed to take a picture of our food for all our friends to guess whos meal was the americans and whos was the filipino's hahaha. no rice for this american!!! -Carlos was baptized on Sunday morning!! with his two nephews too. oh it was so happy. he had been trying to stop smoking for so long for this day and seeing him so happy just made me want to cry. so so happy for him. we had some cool experiences this week!! so on ...

wow what a week!!!  i just wanna start out by sending all my love to the Tucker family and everyone else who is struggling from loss of their cute mom. All my prayers are being sent in that direction and i wish i could be there with all my heart. But even from far away, I feel a lot of peace from God's plan for us and I know that He is with us in all of our trials and He can literally carry us through. This is one lesson I have really learned since being here. It is really hard to see in the moment sometimes, but God's plan is divine and was created since the world began. February 17, 2019 Santa Fe

MAAYONG AGA SA INYO TANAN sorry this will be a short email this week!!! but we just heard that we can skype our families now??? this is wild we're all in shock over here. but im excited!!! i miss those people life is so good over here!! the trio life is definitely different but fun!! sister bise and baczuk are both awesome and im pumped for the next 5 weeks.  we taught this woman named MikMik this week who I just love. we've been teaching her forever. her daughter was in teh hospital for dengue last week for 8 days, and then this week her son got hit by a car and it just seems like they're hit by trial after trial. (luckily he only fractured his arm) but she came to church yesterday and told us that god gives people trials to see how they'll act in the midst of them, and shes using them to come closer to Christ. i just love these people and their faith even when things are so hard.  I LOVE YOU ALL AND HAVE A GOOD WEEK HAPPY LATE VALENTINES DAY AND EARLY ...
